From Hirszfeld to dreams about artificial blood – lecture








Professor Wiesław Jędrzejczak, head of the Chair and Clinic of Haematology, Oncology and Internal Diseases of the Medical University of Warsaw, will talk about bone marrow transplants and other recent achievements of modern medicine, inspired by the research on the blood of Ludwik Hirszfeld. Professor Jędrzejczak is a pioneer of bone marrow transplantation in Poland.
18 January, 6 PM, free admittance from 4 to 9 PM, volunteers can register as potential donors of bone marrow and stem cells
