  • Who is a Jew? – meeting 
    Agata Rakowiecka, director of JCC Warsaw, Małgorzata Kordowicz, a rabbi, and a guest will seek answers to questions: who is a Jew, are you Jewish only if your mother is Jewish? Jewish ABC is a new series of meetings and workshops dealing with basic ideas in Judaism and Jewish culture, co-organised by the Jewish Community Centre (JCC Warsaw).

    Cooking together under the eye of Maryla Musidłowska and Kuba Chojecki. We will find out about the rules of preparing meals from dairy and meat products in Jewish kosher cuisine.

    Paulina Kakareko of JJC Warsaw and Rabbi Małgorzata Kordowicz and invited guests will tell us what is kashrut. What is kosher food and where can we find the rules that apply to it? How to behave in a kosher house?

    Rabbi Małgorzata Kordowicz and invited guests will talk about languages used by Jewish cmmunities in ISrael and the Diaspora. Where do people still speak Yiddish and Ladino? What is the history of Hebrew?
