The grand opening of King Matt’s Family Education Area

Especially for children and their carers, we have prepared the very colourful and modern King Matt’s Family Education Area at the POLIN Museum. We are going to introduce the youngest visitors into the great world of Jewish culture, tradition and history. All the workshops organized there will be based on the combination of learning with creative playing and a family atmosphere. They will be led by educators and artists who have knowledge, talent, and skills, but, above all, love working with children. You are going to take part in workshops on Jewish holidays, cooking activities, meetings with interesting guests, theatrical performances, movie shows and chamber music concerts. Our youngest visitors will also learn about the principles of good cooperation and communication - we will argue, persuade and discuss in the spirit of respect of others and of democratic values.

Sunday, December 6

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Interactive Hanukkah Concert for families - Auditorium | registration required

Combining tradition and modernity, music and sound, we would like to invite the participants to make music together. We are going to listen to the Hanukkah song and A jingele a mejdele performed by Ola Bilińska and her band. Children and adults will help the performers and create an orchestra together by playing, singing and moving with the rhythm of the music. All those, combined with the visualisations, will create the unforgettable atmosphere of an exceptional musical performance.

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
