Personal data management rules (information clause)

In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016, we inform that:

 

  1. POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, with its registered office at 6 Anielewicza St. in Warsaw (00-157), is the Data Controller of your personal data.
     
  2. POLIN Museum appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted by e-mail at: iod@polin.pl, or by phone at: +48 22 471 03 41.
     
  3. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of conducting the statutory activity, mission and tasks of the POLIN Museum pursuant to Article 6(a) of the Regulation, i.e. the data subject’s consent, Article 6(b), i.e. performance of agreements, and Article 6(c), i.e. compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.
     
  4. Your personal data may be provided to the following recipients:
    • suppliers of IT systems and IT services;
    • entities that provide the Museum with accounting services, service quality studies, recovery of claims, as well as legal, analytic, and marketing services;
    • postal operators and couriers;
    • operators of electronic payment systems and banks, in the scope of execution of payments;
    • bodies authorised by law to receive your personal data.

     
  5. Your personal data will not be transferred to any third country.
     
  6. Your personal data will be processed:
    • in the case of personal data processed for the purpose of conclusion and performance of agreements – for the time necessary to perform all obligations resulting from sales agreements;
    • in the case of personal data processed for the purpose of providing services by electronic means – for the time of providing you with services by electronic means;
    • in the case of personal data processed for the purpose of sending marketing content by the Museum – until you object to the processing of your personal data in this scope.

     
  7. After this time, personal data will be processed only in the scope and for the time required by law, including accounting provisions.
     
  8. Any of the granted consents may be withdrawn at any time. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before its withdrawal. For the purposes of proof, we ask you to submit your withdrawal of consent in writing to the address: (Warszawa (00-157) ul. Anielewicza 6) or by e-mail to: iod@polin.pl.
     
  9. You have the right to access your personal data, the right to request their rectification, erasure or restriction of their processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, the right to withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before its withdrawal.
     
  10. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you find that the processing your personal data violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016.
     
  11. Your data will be processed by automated means, including profiling.
     
  12. The provision of personal data is voluntary, however, it is necessary for the purpose of providing services, including services provided by electronic means or conclusion and performance of agreements. Failure to provide the personal data required by the Museum will result in the inability to provide services and perform agreements.
