The spacious, state-of-the-art Conference Centre of POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews offers a wide range of facilities, including the auditorium, two conference halls, three lecture rooms, foyer and the truly unique main hall.
The Main Hall
The POLIN Museum building features an impressive 20 metres high main hall. With its unusual curved, undulating walls, the hall is a stunning and innovative design. Once inside, our guests step into a monumental, light-filled gap which symbolises the parting of the Red Sea. The glazed outer walls allow the building to radiate with energy, filling its surroundings with light.
This spacious hall which can accomodate up to 479 people comes equipped with a professional lighting, sound and multimedia system, making it a perfect venue for conferences, concerts, theatre performances and film screenings. The auditorium has all the necessary conference facilities: interpreter booths, changing rooms as well as rooms for event organisers. A suspended screen makes it possible to transform the auditorium into a screening room.
With a surface area of 557m², the foyer is an excellent venue for banquets, exhibitions and special events.
The Centre has two conference rooms with the surface area of 115m² and 86m² respectively, both featuring state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. The maximum capacity of the conference rooms is 100 and 63 people respectively, depending on the layout and the expectations of the guests.
Three rooms, located in the Museum’s Education Department, with a surface area between 47m² and 57m² are perfectly suited for workshop and meetings. The educational rooms are accessed through a spacious and comfortable foyer which can also double up as a catering space.
The Museum provides an option of exclusive guided tours of its exhibition space outside its normal opening hours.
