Call for films
We invite you to send us films that will become a part of our film installation. Selected works will be presented during the third day of the conference.
They will be screened all day long on a looped program. The films must refer to Jewish cultural heritage and result from work done as part of a project or an initiative. We accept both amateur and professional films, both fictional, artistic, documentary and educational films. The filming technique is irrelevant: films may be shot with a cell-phone, a camera or using animation.
The films submitted should have English subtitles. Individuals or institutions who do not wish to attend the conference are still welcome to submit their films. We are accepting applications until 31 March 2016.
We encourage you to complete the application form and either send us the link to the film or a DVD with the film to "Jewish Cultural Heritage. Projects, Methods, Inspirations" Conference, POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, 6 Anielewicza St., 00-157 Warsaw, Poland. Please be aware that we will not be returning any materials that you send us.
Attention, the submission or acceptance of a film is not the same as signing up to participate in the conference. The registration for the conference is a separate procedure. We encourage you to take part in the call for papers (open until 31 March) or to register for the conference between 1 May 2016 and 31 May 2016.
