A People That Dwells Alone? Jewish History and the Culture of a Minority
For most of their history, the Jews lived as a minority among other cultures. This lecture will examine the boundaries between Jewish culture and the culture of the majority, especially in Christian lands. What did the Jews adopt from the majority culture and what did they resist?
