Mirosław Bałka's work "I Knew It Had 4 In It" (2008) from the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw / Institute of Polish Culture, University of Warsaw.

The conference made an attempt at comparing the history of remembering the Shoah in Poland and in France, finding similarities and common grounds and pointing out differences. The conference featured a discussion on the most recent element that builds the memory of Polish-Jewish relations and the Shoah – POLIN Museum.

The conference was organised in collaboration with the Institute of Polish Culture of the University of Warsaw, where debates were held on 2 October, the first day of the conference.
