In November 2013, SPI opened 4 World Trade Center, the first office tower at Ground Zero. The company is currently developing two other office towers on the WTC site – 2 and 3 World Trade Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Silverstein devote much of their time and resources to support many philanthropic endeavors. They are long-time supporters of organizations that are dedicated to education and medical research, meeting humanitarian needs and supporting the arts.
The Jewish community in New York supports many museums. But ultimately this one, I think, will be so unique it can only be helpful to the population at large and not just the Jewish community.
