New items were added to the POLIN Museum collection
Candleholders, a bowl used for washing hands and a silver Pesach cup have arrived at the POLIN Museum collection. These precious objects related to the Judaic religious tradition are to be displayed at the core exhibition, following conservation and preparation for exposition.
The objects, purchased thanks to the cooperation between the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute and POLIN Museum, will allow us to complete the narrative thread at the core exhibition section devoted to Judaism; they will help the visitors get acquainted with the religious life of Jews and will deepen their knowledge on Jewish holidays and traditions.
The purchase was possible thanks to the grant of the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute and a subsidy from the National Digital Archive.
