List of workshops for grades 1-3
- What is the smell of Shabbat?
Shabbat is one of the most important Jewish holidays. During the workshop, we will get acquainted with the traditions of a Jewish home, the smells of a Jewish kitchen and holiday rituals. We will talk about the importance of rest and quality family time. We will produce our own besamim dish, i.e. a container for fragrant herbs and roots.
- Fun and games 100 years ago
Would you like to learn to play some new miskhakim (Hebrew word for games)? We will have fun at the courtyard of an old tenement house while touring the core exhibition. Hopscotch, dreydl (Jewish spinning top), various counting rhymes and guessing games are just some of the fun that awaits you. Children will also produce their own toy.
How to book the workshop?
You must book at least two weeks prior to the planned workshop by sending an email to the address: [email protected].
