Tisha be-Av – a performative action
A performance of Theatre 21, a group consisting of actors with Down Syndrome and autism. Memory of the victims of the T4 Nazi aktion - “elimination of lives unworthy of life” - will be evoked though personal experiences of the actors. The stories of actors, the 20th century history and the Tisha be-Av holiday will all merge into one. The mourning following the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple will prompt us to pose many questions still relevant today.
