We are here! Celebrate our 10th anniversary with us!
What is a birthday with no celebration? With that in mind, we have planned a long birthday weekend, packed with fantastic events, a special birthday cake, and free admission!
Over the course of these few days in September, we will invite you to guided tours like you have never seen before, a night-time film marathon, a concert, a debate on the future of museums, and a meeting with artefacts from our collection. We have also prepared attractions for our youngest visitors — among them, workshops during which participants will have an opportunity to make a birthday gift for themselves. Throughout the summer, we have been sending our wishes to you on social media; in September, we wish to meet you at POLIN Museum to celebrate our 10th birthday!
And here is what we have prepared:
- 26-30 September, free admission to most events
- Make a gift for yourself workshop in the Museum’s main hall
- "A Wishing Fountain" – an artistic installation in the Museum’s main hall
- "A Whim" cake, or a new, unusual dessert boasting a whole range of Ashkenazi flavours — from poppy seeds with almonds and nuts, through honey and cinnamon to apple and Mirabelle plum, available at the Warsze bistro
- Free tickets to the concert and the debate available from 27 September
- Free tickets to all other events available from 16 September
