In the heart of Jerusalem’s orthodox district, unexpected and hopeless feelings arise between two religious men – a butcher and his helper. It is a forbidden and shameful bond, dooming them to condemnation, hostility and exclusion. No less important than social pressure is the internal struggle that each must wage against himself.
