On March 24, 2014 at 6.00 PM we invite you to attend the next meeting in the Lectures on the Core Exhibition series. Dr. Tamara Sztyma and Michał Majewski will deliver a lecture entitled What does the Jewish street talk about? Faces of Diversity in the Interwar Gallery.

What did the Jewish street talk about in the 1920s and 30s? How to build a single story when so many different topics need to be addressed? Dr. Tamara Sztyma and Michał Majewski, the curators of the Street gallery will talk about the making of this part of the exhibition, presenting its spatial layout and artistic conception as well as the main narrative themes, selected from a vast body of historical material on Jewish life in interwar Poland.

The cycle of lectures on the Core Exhibition allows visitors to get to know about its contents and its backstage before the grand opening in 2014. Each month the experts and the curators tell about challenges which they faced during their work on the galleries of the Core Exhibition.
