POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews invites you for the Night of Museums this coming Saturday, 14 May. This year, the event is held both off- and online under the title ‘What’s Cooking in the Museum?’. The program includes meetings at both core and temporary exhibitions, virtual tours, on-site ‘What’s Cooking in the Museum?’ tours, a workshop and a family game. The event will begin at 7PM.

  • May 14 (Saturday), 7.00 PM-1.00 AM

Enter the fascinating world of Jewish cuisine! During the Night of Museums event, we invite you to view our new temporary exhibition titled "What’s Cooking. Jewish Culinary Culture" during guided tours organised especially for the event. You will get acquainted with extraordinary recipes while our guides transform into chefs ready to reveal all the secrets of Jewish culinary tradition.

The title ‘what’s cooking’ will apply to more than just cuisine. You will learn what is cooking at POLIN Museum itself — the Night of Museums offers a unique opportunity to visit all the nooks and corners of the Museum building that are not usually accessible to the public, and to find out what working at a museum really entails. We also encourage you to immerse into the culinary world presented at our temporary exhibition during a museum family game and a workshop.
