From the Polish soil... – The search for migrants
After the Holocaust, mass migration was yet another factor that contributed to the near-total disappearance of Jewish life in Poland.
- 25 January, 6 PM, language: Polish
Over the course of the 20th century, Polish Jews frequently emigrated to the United States or Australia, although some of them have decided to make a new life for themselves in rather unexpected places, such as Iran. Today, we can attempt to retrace their footsteps using the resources provided by the Central Archives of Modern Records. The employees of this institution will explain the methodology applied and sources for genealogical research available at the archives.
