TISH Festival: Festival Opening and screening of the film "Streit’s: Matzo and the American Dream"

We invite you to the official opening of the third edition of TISH Festival of Jewish Food. We will launch our adventures with Jewish cuisine at the Muranów Cinema with a Polish premiere of a documentary titled "Streit’s: Matzo and the American Dream" directed by Michael Levine.

The film tells the story of a Jewish family from NYC which has been producing matzo - traditional Jewish unleavened bread—for five generations now. Matzo, however, serves merely as a point of departure for telling a story of strong family ties, preserving tradition and problems involved in running an ethical business in the world focused almost exclusively on profit.
