On Saturday, we invite you for a meeting with the Jewish cuisine from Amsterdam!

We will get acquainted with the history of Jews in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, once the home of Jewish communities with diverse culinary traditions. We will listen to stories related to Jewish food and its links with the Dutch cuisine, including the famous “bolus” cake.

We will also visit a kosher café located at the Jewish Historical Museum. Roland Vos, the café manager who is responsible for food all across the Jewish Cultural District (which incorporates the Jewish Historical Museum, the Portuguese Synagogue and the National Museum of the Holocaust) will be our guide through the world of Dutch Jewish cuisine.
