History telling through alternative narratives is essential in understanding the past and forming identity - both personal and national. Creating changes, disturbances and manipulations of the way we tell and form a story will be our guide in creating a small book. We will start at the "It takes me some time to shake these images out of my head" installation and discuss visual and literal aspects of collage making and continue our conversation talking about connections between images, thinking and writing a short personal story, learning an easy and quick technique to fold a book from a single piece of paper and finally we will combine it all to create a personal book for each participant.
After the workshop, you are welcome to explore the full "1945. Not the End, Not the Beginning" exhibition at your own pace.
