Funeral ceremony of Marian Turski
Funeral ceremony of Marian Turski z”l will begin at 12 noon on Sunday, 23 February, at the Jewish Cemetery at 49/51 Okopowa Street.
After the ceremony, we invite all to a meeting dedicated to the memory of Mr Turski at POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. It is expected to begin at 3 PM. At the end of the meeting, we will screen a documentary titled "11. Thou Shalt Not Be Indifferent" directed by Andrzej Wolf. It will be the premiere of the film which is currently in its final phase of postproduction. Admission free.

Together with the Family, the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland establishes the Marian Turski "Not Indifferent" Fund, which aim will be to fight all forms of discrimination. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the fund.
Payments can be made by bank transfer to the account of the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland: 29 1240 6292 1111 0010 5499 9625, with the following in the transfer title: "Not Indifferent Fund."
No accreditation is required for the funeral ceremony at the cemetery and the meeting at POLIN Museum.
The organizers will provide a platform for the media and a press area at the cemetery. Due to the location limitations, parking spaces cannot be provided.
The funeral ceremony will begin at 12 noon. After the ceremony, a funeral procession will accompany the deceased to his grave. At the deceased family's request, we kindly ask you not to record or photograph this part of the funeral. The organizers will take photos and make them available at a later date.
Due to the expected security checks at the cemetery, please do not bring any large luggage (large bags, backpacks, etc.).
