The Museum is looking for new volunteers. We will be accepting applications until October 15.

You can become a Museum volunteer regardless of your age, education, experience or interests. If you like helping others, want to develop your skills and meet interesting people, then our volunteer program is for you.

The Museum of the History of Polish Jews is in the process of setting up a modern and professional volunteer center. We invite schoolchildren (from the age of 14), university students, professionals, seniors, and anyone else who feels the need to help others, to come volunteer for us.

What can I do at the Museum?

Our volunteers work in many different areas and departments :

  • Customer Service – in this department you can actively support Museum employees by: greeting visitors, providing information and aiding visitors, directing visitor traffic. Volunteering in this department, you will be a member of one of the Museum’s most important teams. It is you that our visitors will turn to as they come in.
  • Culture – both culture lovers and good organizers will feel themselves at home in this department. Your role will be to help organize the events taking place at the Museum (performances, concerts, film screenings, outdoor events), and you will always be at the center of action.
  • Education – our educational activities are devised for a large and differentiated audience, not just children. As a volunteer, you can help our educators in their daily tasks and support them during workshops for young people and adults. You can also work with us to develop our educational programs.
  • Sociological Research – is an area for those who are quick to establish contact with others. The volunteers in this group will develop surveys together with our sociologist, carry out research and analyze its results.

What else can the Museum offer?

  • A volunteer certificate
  • A reference letter (for the most active volunteers)
  • The opportunity to take part in events
  • The experience of working for a cultural institution
