On Wednesday, one of the tickets bought by Barbara and Sławomir from Szczecin (POLAND) was designated as the millionth visitor to the POLIN core exhibition 1000-year History of Polish Jews. On that occasion, in the presence of Prof. Dariusz Stola, POLIN Museum Director, and Stefan Malczewski, Managing Director and Member of the Board for Corporate Affairs at the LOT Polish Airlines, he/she was offered a number of surprise gifts. The most precious ones were: air tickets for two for a return flight to Tel Aviv from an airport of choice in Poland, and a Member Card. The Member card is valid for two people and offers unlimited entry to the core exhibition and temporary exhibitions, as well as various discounts and the catalogue of the core exhibition.

”Our  Museum, opened less than three years ago, grew to be one of the main points on the tourist map of Warsaw, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from both Poland and abroad. It is also appreciated by experts: in 2016, we were honoured – for the first time in history - with the two most prestigious museum awards. Today we welcome the millionth guest to our core exhibition. We invite all those who has not yet had a chance to tour the exhibition,” says Prof. Dariusz Stola, Director of POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews.

POLIN Museum core exhibition in numbers:

  • One million visitors from 113 countries at the core exhibition since its opening in 2014.
