Concert to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising

We are happy to announce that  June 22, at 10 AM (Israeli time) our concert that took place on the eve of 76th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising will be broadcasted on public Israeli radio station KAN.

During the concert that took place on April 18th 2019 at POLIN Museum Auditorium, Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra (under the baton of Gabriel Chmura) paid tribute to the musicians from the Warsaw ghetto. The concert, featuring pieces by Mozart, Schubert, and Wajnberg were performed to commemorate the Jewish Symphony Orchestra, and its exceptional soloist, Josima Feldschuh.

The concert is organized within the [email protected] series, realized by POLIN Museum together with the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland. To celebrate the composer’s centenary, his music is being presented throughout the year at POLIN Museum.
