Project History

The POLIN Meeting Point project is an expansion of the the youth exchange program Polish-Israeli Youth Exchange  (PIYE) which has been run in Poland and Israel for many years. The PIYE is the oldest project of the POLIN Museum and the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute and is very popular among Polish and Israeli academic youth.

On the basis of this long-standing experience, the Museum is expanding the PIYE project to also include German youth. From 2015, it will run a new simultaneous module– the POLIN Meeting Point – Summer Education School addressed to the youth from Poland, Israel and Germany.

The implementation of the project is possible due to the support of Nissenbaum Family Foundation.
