"You Have an Assignment"—a detective audio game

Together with the Granda agency, we have developed and produced "You Have an Assignment"—an exciting detective audio game for young people. It combines an escape room experience with the challenges faced by professional genealogists in their daily work.

What is the game about? Imagine that the owners of a house under renovation find an old hidden compartment in the wall, and inside it – a letter and mysterious keepsakes. Eager to find out where these items came from and to whom they belonged, the house owners contact the detective agency where you work. You are assigned to the job.

To solve the riddle, tour the 1000-Year History of Polish Jews POLIN Core Exhibition in reverse order, starting from the last gallery. By breaking codes, collecting clues, and making choices along the way, you will uncover a secret family history and fulfill the mission entrusted to you!

The audio game is intended for individual visitors, primarily 15-19 year olds, although female and male puzzle enthusiasts will be interested. It is available in two language versions: Polish and English. There is no time limit to complete the game.

You can loan the "You Have an Assignment" audio game sets at the Museum ticket desk while purchasing admission tickets. Children and youth up to the age of 26 with IDs from Polish schools and universities qualify for the ‘Museum for One Zloty’ program (ticket cost: 1 PLN). On Thursdays, admission to the Museum is free, tickets are not required, and you can loan the "You Have an Assignment" game for free.
