Cease fire! Wajnberg, Britten, Szostakowicz - concert

8 May will mark the 74th anniversary of the end of World War II. Three days later at POLIN Museum the Royal String Quartet will give a special concert featuring pieces by Mieczysław Weinberg, Benjamin Britten and Dmitri Shostakovich. For the opening quintet by Weinberg, the ensemble will be joined by Piotr Sałajczyk.
