Join us on September 30, 2013, for the finissage of the exhibition "Letters to Afar", the first temporary exhibition inside our new building.

For over four months now we have had the opportunity to travel back in time and come face to face with the inhabitants of Poland’s pre-war towns and cities thanks to Péter Forgács’ installation.  Accompanying us on this extraordinary voyage was music by the Klezmatics. During the finissage we will delve into the atmosphere of the exhibition for the last time, accompanied, this time, by Marcin & Bartłomiej Brat Oleś Duo on bass and percussion. The Oleś brothers will play music inspired by the film images of Peter Forgács.

At 4.30 PM we invite you to a meeting with  Tamara Sztyma, the exhibition curator, who will talk about the stories and original materials presented in the exhibition as well as its artistic assumptions.

Our next temporary exhibition will be dedicated to our Donors. "Biographies of Things. Gifts in the Collection of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews" will be showing at the Museum from October 18, 2013.
