The Other End of the World – a meeting in the POLIN Reading Room series
A new novel by Małgorzata Sobieszczańska entwines motifs from pre-war Nowogródek and present-day Warsaw. By presenting the lives of representatives of four cultures, the author makes her readers reflect on whether we indeed control our fate, or whether it is predetermined by our genes, or place and time of birth.
