TISH Festival: Bagels & Rugelachs – culinary workshops with Laurel Kratochvila
During the workshops we will prepare Jewish pastries: New York bagels and Jerusalem croissants with sweet filling. The workshop will be run by Laurel Kratochvila who lives in Berlin. The workshops will be held in English.

Laurel Kratochvila is a baker specializing in classic Yiddish baking and French boulangerie. Since 2013, she has been the owner and head baker of Fine Bagels in Berlin. She is a co-founder of Nosh Berlin, Berlin's first Jewish food week, and an organizer of Shtetl Neukoelln, Berlin's Yiddish music and culture festival. She is believes her passion for Yiddish cuisine started at age five when she choked not once, but twice, on her grandmother's stuffed cabbage.
The workshops will last 3 hours and will take place at MENORA Info, entry through Charlotte Menora, 2 Grzybowski Square.
