The "Atlas of the History of Polish Jews" is the first book of this type which presents, in a comprehensive manner, the history of Jews in Poland from the moment of their arrival until the present day. On its 424 pages, the reader will find 166 maps, supplemented by 461 photographs and drawings, 95 diagrams as well as original articles by eminent historians.

The employees and associates of the Museum co-authored a substantive part of the book from the very beginning. The authors of the book include members of the team responsible for the design of the core exhibition – Professor Hanna Zaremska who created the “First Encounters” gallery, as well as professor Marcin Wodziński, who was responsible for the “Challenges of Modernity” gallery.
