POLIN Meeting Point – Summer Education School

The POLIN Museum invites you to participate in the international project POLIN Meeting Point – Summer Education School implemented within the framework of the Education Fund of the Nissenbaum Family Foundation. The project will take place in Warsaw on  August 16-31, 2015,.

The program  is addressed to students from Poland, Israel and Germany and its purpose is to build   multicultural dialogue through education and art. The main theme of this year’s edition of POLIN Meeting Point is: The End of World War II – History and Remembrance. The project will include workshops, lectures, discussions on various historical narratives, individual accounts, social memory, artistic expressions concerning the end of World War II as well as media reports on the ways of its commemoration. We will elaborate on these issues from three perspectives: Polish, Israeli and German. The seminar part of the program will be supplemented by  an artistic project run by an international team.

Participation in the project is free of charge. The travel and accommodation expenses (board and lodging) will be covered by the organizer. All classes will be conducted in English.
