Children's Day // Jukebox! Jewkbox! – family event

We will play, listen and dance to Jewish hits. We will also build our own musical instruments. We invite all to a grand family picnic at the park in front of the Museum - there will be plenty of snacks and surprises. And to top it all – Alice in Wonderland concert!

In the fairy land – a concert

Ryszard Sielicki was a composer, prime mover behind the Polish Jazz publication series, and author of music to radio plays and theatre performances. Alice in Wonderland with music written by Sielicki will be performed by Jerzy Rogiewicz and Igor Nikiforow, who are members – along with other musicians from the Warsaw independent music scene – of the Jerz Igor ensemble.

3 PM, free admission

Amy, dir. Asif Kapadia – film

The film, awarded an Oscar and European Film Award, presents a life story of Amy Winehouse, a singer with exceptional voice, coming from a London Jewish family. Introduction by Aleksandra Więcka, a sociologist and journalist.

5 PM, free admission
