The second edition of the TISH* Jewish Food Festival will take place in Warsaw on 16-20 October during the joyous Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The main theme of this year’s edition of the Festival organized by POLIN Museum is HOME.

16 October (Wednesday)       

  • 8AM-3PM - TISH Jewish Food Festival at Forteca Kręglickich
    Free admission, Forteca Kręglickich, 12 Zakroczymska St.
     
  • 5PM-6:30PM - Pottery workshop with Trzask! – decorating plates with the Jewish food motifs
    Menora Info, 2 Grzybowski Square
     
  • 7PM-8:30PM - Pottery workshop with Trzask! – decorating plates with the Jewish food motifs
    Menora Info, 2 Grzybowski Square
     
  • 6PM-9PM - Inauguration of the Festival – film screening of Oma&Bella followed by snacks
    POLIN Museum audytorium, 6  Anielewicza St.

17 October (Thursday)

  • 6PM-9PM - Sukkot afternoon tea – challah and jam
    JCC Jewish Community Center Warsaw, 9a Chmielna St., free admission

  • 11AM-2PM - Family culinary workshop
    At King Matt’s Family Education Area, tickets available from 23 September at www.bilety.polin.pl and at POLIN Museum cash desk
     
  • 12noon-2PM - A walk with Sabina Francuz, curator of the The Table Is Set project
     
  • 1:30PM-5PM - "For bagels and hummus" –  an urban walk with food sampling
     
  • 6PM - Closing of the TISH Festival – conclusion of the The Table Is Set project
