Helena Berlewi produced her first painting in 1952, at the age of 79. From that moment on, she never stopped painting. Berlewi developed her own individual style and exhibited widely all across the globe.
The first exhibition devoted to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising to focus on the perspective of civilians. Words are all that has survived, the only trace left of these people.
By showing what Jews eat and why we acquaint our visitors with Jewish religion and culture in various corners of the globe.
Between 8 and 10 January (Saturday-Monday) the exhibition's opening hours will be extended until 10PM.
